The model won over the 58-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with its unique glass roof, exceptionally clean mast and overall quality design down to the finest details. The competition was fierce: over 5,500 entries were submitted from 59 countries in hopes of receiving the iF seal of quality.
"This is a genuine symbol of our hard work, kaizen process and creativity at Toyota. Again we are honoured with an international design award that reaffirms our design quality. This achievement was entirely completed thanks to our great teamwork,” says Magnus Oliveira Andersson, Head of Design at Toyota Material Handling Europe.
