There is a new business landscape on the rise. We, as companies that want to stay ahead of competition, need to move fast. Building new partnerships and competitive ecosystems is crucial to us. Also, keeping up with the changing business of moving into the autonomous age as well as integrating connectivity and AI into our operations.
Business models are about to fundamentally change as we move faster towards servitisation – and we need to keep track of changing behaviours when it comes to our customers – but also to consumers, citizens, employees and students. To stay in the forefront, we need to be more innovative, integrate sustainability as part of our business models and keep pace with the digital acceleration.
Now we are looking to expand the ecosystem around smart industry globally but acting from the region of East Sweden. We look to connect with start-ups from all over the world, who are pioneers of digital technology and new sustainable business models.
IndX2021 focus areas are:
We are looking for solutions related to perception, data processing, reasoning and decision making. Autonomy also enables faster product development.
We have access to broad knowledge, but are looking for solutions with a competitive edge within cyber security, self organising networks, 5G technology etc
We need to produce more while using less, eliminate waste and optimise energy usage toward a circular economy.
How does it work?
Who can take part? Any start-up or small company with a dedicated team and innovations within the partners’ interest area. You can participate from anywhere in the world.
How to sign up?
It’s all really easy. You apply by filling out a simple form. The application period for 2021 will start June 2nd. After the applications representatives from the partner companies will select a group of start-ups out of all the applicants. You will get feedback on your application within two weeks’ time. The selected start-ups will be called to a filming session where we will record your pitch. If you live far away you will receive instructions on how to record the pitch by yourselves.
The next step is a Digital Pitch event where all participating start-ups will display their pitch films and have Q&A along with representatives from Saab, Väderstad AB, Toyota Material Handling, and Siemens Energy.
After the Digital Pitch event, the staff at the respective partner companies will work up ideas from your pitches. One idea can involve several of the partner companies and several of the participating start-ups.
The next and final step is the main event, the POC day where all partners and start-ups will workshop together to select the final ideas that will be realized into POC´s (Proof of Concept).
