Automated towing for safe and forkless material handling

Item handling and just-in-time delivery are key for manufacturing sites, and easily automated with the Autopilot range from Toyota. With the automated towing truck you can organise “milk runs” in the production area, as it can automatically hook and unhook the tow train safely at predefined work stations. The Autopilots can be equipped with Lithium-ion batteries allowing for auto charging, meaning the trucks can charge in between tasks without the need of personnel or charging rooms, making it fully automated.
