Company synergy
Visitors experienced what it means when multiple companies work hand in hand. Toyota Material Handling Europe, TAL and TRI shared one integrated vision: delivering smarter, safer and more efficient logistics operations. This collaborative presence underscored how the group’s combined expertise in material handling equipment, automation, software and AI is helping customers stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.
Spotlight on new products and solutions
The main booth – a collaborative initiative between Toyota Material Handling Europe and Toyota Material Handling Deutschland – drew strong interest thanks to a series of product launches and previews that highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
The new generation of Traigo80 electric counterbalanced forklifts – with models ranging from 3.5 to 5.0 tonnes – made its first appearance, showcasing a balance of raw power and refined control. The Traigo80 impressed visitors with its design, improved energy efficiency, advanced ergonomics and high-performance options tailored for demanding indoor and outdoor operations. The truck offers lower energy consumption, ideal for efficient, high-frequency operations, while the High Performance configuration with 90V battery delivers extra torque and travelling speed, and up to 12% energy savings compared to previous models.
Alongside the Traigo80, Toyota Material Handling Europe presented a preview of the new 8t and 10t towing tractors, Tracto TRE800 and TRE1000, designed for enhanced performance, ergonomics and manoeuvrability. The TRE800’s compact design and small turning radius make it ideal for confined spaces, while the TRE1000’s four-wheel configuration and advanced suspension support long distance transport with exceptional comfort. Both models feature lateral battery extraction and an open bottom frame for easy maintenance, reflecting Toyota Material Handling’s focus on durability and operator friendly design.
Toyota Material Handling Europe also unveiled its new mast generation for the Toyota pallet stackers, developed around a nested mast profile that grants better visibility, smoother transition and noise reduction. The harmonised design, compatible with additional options, represents a step forward toward unity in performance and look and feel of the Toyota product family.
Two new operator centric solutions also made their debut:

Expanding the automation portfolio
Automation remained a major attraction at the booth, with Toyota Material Handling Europe presenting its growing range of automated solutions, including Swarm Automation Transport and Swarm Automation Storage. These systems demonstrate Toyota Material Handling’s vision for scalable, flexible and intelligent automation that adapts to real world warehouse conditions.
The presence of Toyota Automated Logistics (TAL) further reinforced this direction. TAL, which will officially launch in April 2026, is a global partner for integrated logistic process automation, formed by Toyota Industries’ warehouse automation businesses. The new structure strengthens the synergies between automation and material handling, offering seamless end-to-end solutions and a consistent customer experience across regions.
Innovation through collaboration
Toyota Material Handling Europe’s commitment to future ready technology was also visible through its partnerships and presentations. NVIDIA highlighted the role of digital twins in optimising warehouse operations, while experts from the Toyota Research Institute shared insights on AI, robotics and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in intralogistics. These sessions attracted strong attendance and positioned Toyota Material Handling Europe as a thought leader in the digital transformation of logistics.
Another key initiative for Toyota Material Handling Europe is a collaboration with SSAB, a Swedish-based steel manufacturer, to use low-carbon steel in a growing number of products. Toyota Material Handling is seen as an early mover when it comes to the use of lower carbon materials, setting new standards for the industry. The use of low carbon-steel in our Toyota Lifter LHM230 hand pallet trucks has resulted in an 18% carbon emissions reduction cradle to gate compared to previous models.
“What truly stood out at LogiMAT 2026 was not any single product in particular, but the ecosystem we’ve built across the Toyota group,” explains Mark Peters, Marketing Director, Toyota Material Handling Europe, “When hardware, software and research align, the result is a logistics environment that adapts, learns and continuously improves. That’s the future we’re committed to, and this year’s event showed how rapidly that vision is becoming a reality.”
Logiconomi Tower: insights and inspiration
A dedicated Logiconomi Tower served as a hub for knowledge sharing. Here, Toyota Material Handling Europe presented the Logiconomi Forum and the Logiconomi Connections programme, offering visitors a look into emerging trends, innovative partner solutions and practical strategies for improving logistics operations. The platform continues to support the industry by identifying creative, effective answers to real world challenges.
A successful edition and a clear direction forward
With strong visitor engagement, positive customer feedback and a compelling showcase of new technologies, Toyota Material Handling Europe’s presence at LogiMAT reaffirmed its leadership in intralogistics. The combination of new products, advanced safety systems, expanded automation capabilities and cross company collaboration demonstrated how Toyota Material Handling is preparing customers for the next era of logistics.
