Designed for demanding indoor and outdoor environments, the Toyota Traigo80 electric counterbalanced truck is now available in five versions equipped with an 80V battery, from 3.5 to 5.0 tons, with compact and standard chassis to suit even more heavy-duty applications. The different models include 500mm and 600mm load centres, critical for the truck’s safe lifting capacity and stability. They stand out by integrating the new sleek design introduced across the Traigo range, which has recently won various awards.

These high-tonnage models are extremely reliable in heavy-duty operations, such as beverage production and ideal for handling multiple pallets simultaneously. Available with several energy solutions – lithium-ion, lead-acid or fuel cell – the Toyota Traigo80 fulfils the needs of both the occasional and frequent user, essential in fleet operations and intensive applications, as it offers superior performance and long operating times.

Equipped with an 80V battery, this robust truck offers lower energy consumption, ideal for efficient, high-frequency operations. The High-Performance configuration option with a 90V battery features superior protection against dust and water ingress with an IP54-rated high-performance motor, extra torque and travelling speed (20km/h), up to 30% lifting speed increase, more gradeability on slopes and up to 12% energy savings compared to previous models, delivering the extra muscle and durability needed for outdoor challenges while boosting energy efficiency.

Built and designed with the driver in mind, the new series is equipped with the latest Traigo innovations and comfort features for advanced ergonomics. Precision is built into every aspect of the design. Operators benefit from low noise and reduced vibration thanks to a full-floating driver compartment and more legroom. A smooth regenerative braking and acceleration and excellent visibility all around. Easy service access has never been so convenient, thanks to the handle on the rear lid.

Also, you can tailor the Traigo80 to your specific requirements with options such as an interactive colour touchscreen display with intuitive controls, a new armrest with three types of levers, and an optional glass roof, ensuring confidence and productivity in every shift.

With Toyota’s advanced safety technology SAS, a door sensor and other safety options such as the anti-collision assistance system SEnS+, obstacle detection, a rear camera, and smart lighting options including the new optional lateral red light, this forklift is engineered to perform reliably, efficiently and precisely. The new Traigo80 models will be premiered at this year’s LogiMAT fair, an International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions, held at Stuttgart’s Trade Fair Centre from March 24 to 26 in Germany.
