Experienced HR leader Silke Ernst assumes management team position with Toyota Material Handling Europe

Silke Ernst will assume the position as Senior Vice President HR & Corporate Communications and member of the Toyota Material Handling Europe’s Executive Management Team.

Silke Ernst will take office from April 1, 2024 and she succeeds Peter Damberg who will ensure a smooth transition before leaving for retirement in July. 

Silke Ernst is an analytical HR leader with strengths in steering HR processes, both locally and globally, as well as in driving change and cultural transformation. She is also an experienced strategist in areas such as sustainability, business development and internal communication.

Born in 1967, Silke Ernst has held the group leading HR position in stock-listed companies Mycronic and Dometic as well as leading HR roles in state-owned Swedish power giant Vattenfall. Since 2022, she operates her own consultancy business supporting companies in strategic HR related matters. Silke is German by origin but lives in Stockholm, Sweden since 30 years.
